Key responsibilities

• Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, including processing invoices, receipts, and payments.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting to ensure effective financial planning.
• Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
• Support payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements.
• Assist in internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation.
• Implement and maintain effective financial controls and procedures.
• Ensure GST compliance, including filing GST returns, reconciling Input Tax Credit (ITC), and addressing GST-related queries.
• Stay updated with changes in financial regulations and ensure the organization’s compliance.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to management.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent certification preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and financial tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
